Position Management
All your open positions live on your Profile page, giving you a clear view of how your trades are performing.
What you will see
Each position displays:
- Market title -- the event you are trading on
- Side -- whether you hold Yes or No shares
- Share count -- how many shares you own
- Entry price -- the average price you paid
- Current value -- what your shares are worth now
- PnL -- your profit or loss in both dollars and percentage
Closing a position
Click the close button on any position to sell your shares at the current market price. One click and you are out.
You can also view your position directly on Polymarket using the external link icon next to each market.
Once a market resolves, losing shares are worth $0 and cannot be sold. If you want to exit before resolution, make sure to close your position while the market is still active.
Winning shares in resolved markets automatically pay out at $1 per share.
